AUTHORSHIP

My name is Angelita Gamble, and I'm excited for you to take this literary journey with me. I've been filling blank pages with stories and poems since I was a little girl. It's the way I learned to express myself. I eventually began developing stories from the many experiences I've had or observed over the course of my life and teaching career.
When we look at today's culture and the messages that are being shared with our youngest minds, it's important to me that we give them the tools to interact with the world in a healthy way. The stories that you'll find at Sincere Creations, LLC explore actual lessons I used to teach my students in class. The topics are meant to provide children, parents, teachers, and guardians a space to have critical conversations around topics that ultimately lead to a well-rounded life.
Let's get ready to journey into some amazing literature!
Current Title: Please Doesn't Mean Yes
As Rylee enters second grade, she's learning tons of new things. Most importantly, she's learning how to use good manners. But what happens when someone uses good manners, and you're uncomfortable saying yes? This powerful book explores the critical topic of consent through relatable storytelling, emphasizing the value of kindness, communication, and mutual respect. It provides readers with practical tools to navigate social interactions while fostering a safe and inclusive environment.
Are you ready to empower your students to understand the importance of boundaries, consent, and respect in a way that is engaging, age-appropriate, and meaningful?

WHAT READERS SAY
“ ‘Please Doesn’t Mean Yes’ is a great addition to any home or elementary library. It gently teaches our little ones (and reminds us as adults) the true meaning of sharing, being okay with being told “no”, and honoring & being comfortable with personal boundaries. The message is not only important, but critical! The story also features diverse characters that are beautifully illustrated! The author provides supplemental questions and sentence stems that can be used by parents, teachers, SLPs, and anyone working with students on social skills. Awesome read and can’t wait to add it to my speech therapy library!”

WHAT READERS SAY
“I loved reading the book with [my son], seeing the diverse illustrations (I wonder if my sister influenced one of the characters 😊), and it even includes some helpful phrases you can practice with kids. This would make a great gift. She's also an amazing Education Advocate who helped us navigate through all the confusion that comes with IEPs and public school services. If you're also stressed and struggling with the school system, please reach out to see if she can help.”
